Step 3 – Wait for the confirmation
We respond within 24 hours. Either we confirm availability or we show other options
Step 4 – Make the Payment
Once we confirm availability, you will be asked to make payment towards rent, shipping charges & refundable deposit
Step 5 - Delivery
At your residence / hotel as per the date specified. We deliver Mumbai wide and to a few locations of Navi Mumbai and Thane
Step 6 – Return the Product when not in use
You can return the product whenever you wish to. Rent will be charged only for the period your child has enjoyed the product (Week/ Month etc.)
Step 7 – Pick Up
From your residence / hotel
Step 8 – Transfer of Refundable Deposit
Through bank transfer within 48 working hours of returning the product
An order is confirmed only after full payment is done for Rent, Shipping Charges & Refundable deposit.
Orders placed two days prior to the delivery date will fall under Express Delivery and will be charged additional Rs100.
Shipping charges include both delivery and pick up.
Rental Terms & Conditions
The person who is hiring our product hereinafter will be named as 'Customer'.
I) Customer will check with us if the hired product/s can be shifted or not.
II) If travelling with our Hired Products:
Air Travel: Always GATE CHECK IN all products Hired by us. Putting the hired products in the 'check in luggage' is NOT ALLOWED. So confirm the 'Check in' procedures with your airline before hiring our product/s
By Car/ By Train: Store the Hired products safely and in a clean, dry place. Storing other luggage/ Items on top of the Hired products is Not Allowed.
Hired products cannot be used on foot over bridge/ on stairs/ Escalators/ uneven surfaces/ dusty areas/ beaches and sandy places or other places that can damage the product/s
III) Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation made:
a) Up to 15 Days prior to the delivery date - No cancellation charges (other than payment gateway charges, if any)
b) Up to 7 Days prior to the Delivery date - 10% of Rent/One week rent (whichever is lower) will be charged.
c) Up to 2 Days prior to the Delivery date -50% of Rent/One week rent (whichever is lower) will be charged.
d) Up to 1 Day prior to the Delivery Date - 75% of Rent / One week rent (whichever is lower) will be charged.
e) If product is out for delivery OR At door step: 100% of the transport charges plus 100% of Rent/ One week rent (whichever is lower) will be charged.
IV) Early Return Policy:
*When we say pay for the period you use, understand that:
For returns between 1 to 7 days - Minimum 7 days rent would be applicable.
For returns between 8 to 30 days - one month rent would be applicable.
For returns between 31 to 90 days - three months rent would be applicable.
For returns between 91 to 180 days -six months rent would be applicable.
V) Damages and Use in Accordance with Instructions:
a) The customer Ensures/ assures to check the child's age/weight before placing the order. Uses the Hired product as per the age/weight limit mentioned by the manufacturer for that particular product.
b) The Customer Ensures/ assures to store the Hired products in a cool, dry place always away from sun light. Storing the hired products in dusty areas, on wet surfaces, in balcony, on staircase, in open areas is not allowed.
c) The customer takes full responsibility for the loss or damage of the product/s. Ensures/ assures to keep the product/s up in the best condition at all times.
d) We deliver and pick the products for your convenience. Our transporter takes utmost care while transporting the products but are not skilled to check the condition of the product at the time of pickup. The product will be checked for damages only after reaching back to us. If we find any damages, we shall share the images with you and refund would be processed only after evaluating the cost of repair/ replacement.
e) In case of loss or damage, the customer agrees to pay myPleyBox the fair value of replacement or repair of the product. If the product is lost or damaged beyond repair or its parts not available by the manufacturer, the customer has to replace it with a NEW product or pay the cost equivalent to the NEW product.
f) Once the assessment is done by myPleyBox, the same will be informed to the customer. If the refundable deposit is more than the replacement or repair cost, the excess amount will be refunded to the customer. If the refundable deposit is less than the repair or replacement cost, then the balance payment or additional charges has to be borne by the customer. Once the final cost is shared with customer, payment needs to be made within two working days, failing which rental cost would also be charged till the final date of settlement.
g) Products that are returned excessively dirty will be charged Rs.100 extra per product.
h) Products that have pen/ Sketch pen/ marker marks will be charged for replacement as these don't get washed off.
i) Using tapes, adhesives, wires to decorate our products is not allowed. Only soft thread can be used to tie any decoration item.
j) Washing and caring instructions should be checked for products that are taken for long term. The customer cannot use oil/ grease/ fabric whitener/ harsh detergents on rented products without informing us.
k) Torn fabric would be charged for replacement.
l) Batteries are not provided with the product/s hired.
VI) Refund Policy
a) Once the product is back with us, the team will check it for any material damages. If found satisfactory, refundable deposit (given at the time of hiring the product) will be transferred back within 48 working hours of receiving the product.
b) Refundable deposit will be returned through bank transfer.
c) All points covered in (III) Damages and Use in Accordance with Instructions) are applicable here too.
VII) Delay in Return:
If Customer fails to return the product on the agreed date mentioned in the email or otherwise, The customer will have to pay Extra charges. Charges would calculated as = Number of days delayed x Average rent per day x 1.5. (Average rent per day = Total Rent / Rental period).
VIII) Delivery / Pick up process:
a) The customer or his/her representative has to be present at the agreed date and time for delivery as well as pickup. Otherwise extra shipping costs for a repeat visit will be charged.
b) If there is any change in delivery/ pickup address, other than specified at the time of booking, then extra shipping will be charged.
c) Delivered product/s cannot be returned from door step unless they have major defects & are non-functional. If cancellations are made at door step: 100% of the transport charges plus 100% of Rent/ One week rent (whichever is lower) will be charged.
d) Though we do quality checks at our end before delivery, the customer is expected to check the hired product/s properly for any issues or damages and report the same to our representative/ delivery person. Photos shall be captured of the same for our records. Once the representatives leaves the premise, myPleyBox cannot be held responsible for any damage post delivery.
e) In case of absence of lift, our delivery team will carry items via stairs only till 1st floor. For deliveries to 2nd floor & above without lift, Rs. 100/- each floor extra will be applicable.
f) Product/s once accepted by the customer or his/her representative, will not be replaced nor would be entitled for any refund.
IX) Release of Liability
a) The customer has to understand that certain risks factor EXISTS from the use or misuse of items that are being hired.
b) The customer assures/ is responsible to download and read usage instructions / manual from MANUFACTURE'S official website before using the hired products, ensures that hired product/s are used in accordance with these Instruction manual and assumes that all risks, known/unknown factors associated with the use of the same.
c) The customer agrees NOT TO hold myPleyBox or its representatives/ owners/ employees responsible for the damages caused by the Hired Product.
No liability stands against myPleyBox or any of the owners/ employees/ representatives working for myPleyBox FOR any injury or loss arising from the use or misuse of the Hired items.
d) Under no circumstances myPleyBox/ its employees/ representatives/ owners will be held responsible for any damage, injury, or any loss of life, arising from the failure of the equipment’s functioning as intended by the manufacturer.
e) The customer agrees NOT to hold myPleyBox or its representatives/ Employees/ Owners responsible if myPleyBox fails to provide the product/s due to unavoidable circumstances/ conditions like accidents/ Natural calamities / Act of God etc.
f) Customer agrees that the selected baby gear/furniture is suitable for their purposes. myPleybox is not the manufacturer or supplier of the baby gear and disclaims any warranties, express or implied, regarding the baby gear's condition, fitness or design. All risks associated with the baby gear are borne by the Customer.
